Broccoli Waltham 29 HEIRLOOM Seeds

Brassica oleracea var. italica

Item #0221

75 days. Broccoli has a long culinary history going back to the Romans but it wasn't until recently that its exceptional health benefits were recognized. Florets and stems are packed with vitamin C and provide calcium, potassium, and iron. The 4"-6", blue-green heads are delicious raw or cooked-much better than store-bought broccoli. Waltham 29 grows prolific side shoots and is espeically cold tolerant. Freezes well. Kids will adore the "little trees" on their plate.

This packet sows thirty 10-foot rows.
